HELLO TEACHERS/LEADERS!
We put this page together with 2 goals:
1) Ideas to play for your children/students and
2) Teach your children/students Ukulele.
Our "Learn to Play Ukulele" Page is great for adults and teachers wanting to learn to play Ukulele". This page has duplicated information but a little more focused on children.

LESSON ORDER
TIP: Consider teaching the chords in the following order based on ease and song relationship:
[C], [F] [G7] then [Am]
*[G7] is easier than [G]
then teach [G]
Splits
[D], [Em], [Dm] & [A7]
TIP: Consider teaching Single Strum first while students get used to [C], [F] and [G7] and the mute strum so when a student doesn't know a chord they can keep beat until they know a chord.
TIP: Our Free 56-Page Lessons book walks you through step-by-step building strum and chord basics
TIP: Sheet music is available individually in Word format for you to adjust/change as to your needs at this link:

Participation Songs to Play for Kids
Disney Game: Have your students guess the movie. For the final song from Frozen, instead of guess the movie, when they know it have them sing it with you.
The Lion Sleeps Tonight: Split students into 2 groups, the 'Wee-wee's" and the "We-ma-way's". This is easier with another lead to lead one half. After you've done the song once, consider doing it again but switch sides.
