OUR SHEET MUSIC: One of the things we love as a club is changing our arrangements to make them more interesting for us, perhaps adding mute strums, single strums, pauses etc.
We share our sheet music in Word and PDF. In Word: you can download and then edit the sheet music to your needs. In PDF: you can view the sheet music easily on a tablet (great for travelling)
Our sheet music includes chord diagrams and all chords so even if you don't know the song or chord, you can play along.
**Tip: in most of our sheet music a chord [x] is 4 beats except a waltz then it is 3 or 6. A split strum is shown with a backslash [x\x], and means 2 beats for each chord.**
WANT TO CHANGE KEY?
Key too high or too low for you to sing?
It is easy to change the key:
Introducing the 'Wheel of Fifths'
Change key by changing all the chords in the same direction. Example: If you want to change a song from [G] to [C], simply change all the chords in your sheet music in the same direction eg. [D] becomes [G], [A7] becomes [D7], [Em] becomes [Am].
Tip: If you want to avoid the dreaded [E] chord, try [E7] in your arrangement instead.
